U.S. Air Force Captain John Merrill, an unlikeable Korean War bomber pilot (John Ireland), who together with co-pilot Paul Kenkins (Bill Williams) fly with their bomber crew to take off from Okinawa to bomb a strategic bridge over the Yalu River. They accomplish their mission, and return to base and crash-lands on an empty tank in bad weather. Also starring Hugh Beaumont ("Leave it to Beaver")
