Synopsis:

Endless Devotion is an action-adventure romance film based on the true story of journalist John Everingham. The movie stars Michael Landon as Everingham, a foreign correspondent who risks everything to rescue his Laotian love, Keo Sirisomphone (played by Laura Gemser), from the oppressive communist regime of Laos.

Set in the 1970s during the aftermath of the Vietnam War, Everingham is expelled from Laos due to his reports exposing government corruption and human rights abuses. Despite being banished, he refuses to abandon Keo, who is trapped in the country under government surveillance. Determined to reunite with her, he devises a daring and perilous plan—swimming across the treacherous Mekong River at night to smuggle her out of Laos.
