Biographical
The Elephant Man is a 1980 biographical drama film loosely based on the life of Joseph Merrick (referred to as "John" in the film), a severely deformed man who lived in London in the late 19th century. The film was directed by David Lynch, produced by Jonathan Sanger, and executive produced by Mel Brooks (who was uncredited, to avoid audiences anticipating the film being in the vein of his comedic works, although his company Brooksfilms is in the opening credits). It stars John Hurt, Anthony Hopkins, Anne Bancroft, John Gielgud, Wendy Hiller, Michael Elphick, Hannah Gordon, and Freddie Jones.

In this biographical documentary I explore the life, and death, of one of the world’s greatest artists to uncover van Gogh the man, as well as van Gogh the madman.
This video charts his early years and the awakening of his artistic talent and the explosion of creativity he experienced in the South of France and his descent into madness.

There are lots of biographies, each with its own particular revelation. Van Gogh: The Life, by Steven Naifeh and Gregory Smith, is justly recognised as one of the best, although their theories about his death remain controversial. Van Gogh also wrote hundreds of letters, which are very poignant. You can buy a six volume set if you’re feeling rich, or read them online. Alfred Blalock (1899-1964), a cardiologist (therefore, self-confident to the point of arrogance), leaves Vanderbilt for Johns Hopkins taking with him his lab technician, Vivien Thomas (1910-1985). Thomas, an African-American without a college degree, is a gifted mechanic and tool-maker with hands splendidly adept at surgery. In 1941, Blalock and Thomas take on the challenge of blue babies and invent bypass surgery. After trials on dogs, their first patient is baby Eileen, sure to die without the surgery. In defiance of custom and Jim Crow, Blalock brings Thomas into the surgery to advise him, but when Life Magazine and kudos come, Thomas is excluded. Will he receive his due?

SYNOPSIS:
In 1998, Ron Clark leaves his teaching job at an elementary school in his North Carolina hometown, where he is known for his innovative teaching methods which results in raising test scores. He decides to look for a teaching job in a tough New York City inner city school where he feels he could be more useful. He finds a job at Inner Harlem Elementary School, where the students are sorted according to their potential.
The principal of the school believes Clark may be too "nice-looking," to take on the rough, disruptive students in a sixth-grade class that has just been abandoned by their teacher. He offers Clark a third-grade class, but Clark insists on taking the older kids that nobody else wants. He quickly learns that it will be a battle of wills between himself and his students to see who can outlast the other. He struggles to understand them, both individually and collectively, before he can teach them the standardized materials.

It takes him some time to convince co-writer Herman J. Mankiewicz and the studio, but Welles eventually gets the script and the green light, keeping the subject very hush-hush with the press. The movie is about an aging newspaper publisher who controlled his enemies as ruthlessly as he controlled his friends; and whose mistress was destined for fame. When a rough cut is screened, Hearst gets wind of the movie's theme and begins a campaign to see that it is not only never publicly screened, but destroyed.

Editing Details:
I had a blast last time I made a Michael Jackson dream trailer. So I was excited to share my ideas for what I want to see in the upcoming Michael biopic film. I put as much as facts I gathered upon researching. Like this biopic is the highest budget in history, so I made sure to highlight that. Also I wanted this to be realistic and close to what would an MJ movie would be like so I made sure to only include the actual cast confirmed to be. Act 1 I wanted it to begin showing MJ entering his childhood room. Then he narrates and says this is my story. This was all possible thanks to the M4n In The M1rror documentary.
One of the main thing I wanted to make sure is to show a lot of crowd, to bring the big budget feel. It was fun connecting scenes of MJ tribute concert with the largest crowd I can find. The biggest challenge of the dream trailer is making the music work. Since this will have mostly songs, sound mixing was challenging, so I did my best. For act 3 the music changed to epic vibe to show the drama in Michael Jackson’s life. This may be the last MJ dream trailer since I cannot find anymore documentary with MJ acting, so I did my best to make this the best one I’ve done. When the real trailer comes out I might also do my own editing adding my own concept to it so that would be exciting.
